Khao Yai National Park

Khao Yai National Park locates on 4 provinces are Nakhon Rachasima (na-korn rard-cha-see-mar), Nakhon Nayok (na-korn nar-yog), Saraburi (sa-ra-bu-ree), and Prachinburi (prar-jeen-bu-ree). This park was declared to be a first national park of Thailand on 18th September 1962 and presents, being a world heritage by United Nation. Khao Yai National Park has 2,168 square kilometers full of mountain ranges, forests, grassland and brackens.

Khao Yai National Park is far about 200 kilometers from Bangkok or far about 115 kilometers from Nakorn Rachasima by turning to Thanaratch (ta-na-rad) Road from Mitraparb (mid-tra-parb) Road and drive for 40 kilometers to National Park Center. Tourist who comes from Bangkok by bus can get off at Pak Chong (parg-chorng) District and hire a car to Khao Yai.

At the entrance have Sanjaopho Khao Yai. We have to worship Jaopho Khao Yai.


We with one accord building tent at Pha Kluai Mai tent zone.


We have a lunch, before to go for a walk in forest.

Khao Jan Ngam Temple

Khao Jan Ngam Temple located in Ban Lirs sa wat, Tumbol Lad Bua Kao, Aumpur See Kiew, Nakhon Rachasima, from Nakhon Rachasima ,go on highway No.2 about 58 to turn left at kilometer 198, and go ahead 3 km.

Lam Thakong Dam



Lies 62 Kms. before reaching the town on Highway No.2 The constructions had started in 1964 and finished 4 years later. The lakelike resevoir can containup to 300 million cu.m. of water and irrigates 95,200 acres of paddy field.
